Anna Johnson

In 2026, Dr. Anna J. Johnson-Snyder joined the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTDallas) family as a full-time faculty member. She earned her PhD at Florida Atlantic University (Accounting) and MBA from Marshall University (Management/HRM). Anna currently teaches Managerial Accounting courses. Before entering academia, she worked as an accountant and auditor in private industry and as an internal and external auditor in state government. Not only is Dr. Johnson a licensed Certified Public Accountant (WV and soon TX), but she is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. Her research interests are primarily on the Judgment and Decision Making (JDM) process in academia and the professional employment environment. Her work has appeared in professional publications, such as The CPA Journal, and in academic journals, such as Issues in Accounting Education and Journal of Accounting Education.
