It's time to get in the game!
- Compete and represent UNT Dallas on the local and national level
- All varsity level E-Sports athletes will be eligible to receive $500 in additional scholarship funds
- Learn and hone skills that gaming can provide for future employment (teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, multitasking, etc…)
- Esports also provides experiential learning opportunities for those interested in streaming, video and audio production, podcasting, shoutcasting, Journalism, PR/Marketing, event management, statistics, finance, and many others.

All full time UNT Dallas and College of Law students in good academic standing with the University

- As with any competitive sports, Esports athletes will have required practice times during the week
- Dedicated study hall time
- Esports athletes must maintain a 2.00 GPA
- Esports athletes must maintain a total of 24 credit hours during the academic year

Esports History: Varsity Call of Duty Team to Compete In-Person at NACE Championships
The UNT Dallas Varsity Call of Duty team is aiming for a national championship in Esports. For the first time, UNT Dallas Esports will compete in-person at the NACE Grand Finals, set for April 23-26, 2026, at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.

eSports Team Mourns Loss of Senior Jonathan Suarez After Winning Two Championships
In early December, UNT Dallas eSports teams won the NACE Smash Bros and the NECC Marvel Rivals national championships. In between those victories, teammate Jonathan Pablo Suarez died in a car accident not far from the campus.
