Student Achievement

The University of North Texas at Dallas is committed to ensuring student success and utilizes a variety of criteria to measure student achievement and program quality. It adheres to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirement to set goals related to student achievement, monitor outcomes, and publish results.  

UNTD monitors, evaluates, and commits to improving the following three student achievement outcomes.

Student Achivement Outcome 1: Retention

UNTD will improve the retention rate for First Time in College (FTIC), Transfers, and students enrolled in Master’s programs.  The retention rate indicates the percent of students who return to UNTD the following fall semester.

Student Achivement Outcome 2: Graduation

UNTD will improve the graduation rate for First Time in College (FTIC), Transfers, and students enrolled in Master’s programs. Graduation rate indicates the percent of students who complete their degree within the time specified.

Student Achivement Outcome 3: Certification/Exam Pass Rates

UNTD will improve the pass rates of students enrolled in programs leading to licensure and/or certification. The pass rate indicates the percent of test takers who pass the test.

*The Bar exam pass rate represents the percent of test takers who pass the exam within 2 years of graduating.
